See Your Results In 3D!
We've recently started offering Body Scans with the Fit3D machine. Get a complimentary scan with your trial or purchase a one-time scan or a 4-pack to keep track of your personal health in a way that you've never had this much access to before!
How it works
With the use of infrared cameras, the Fit3D machine takes images of your body from all angles and sides creating a 3D model that can be rotated 360 degrees to give you the most accurate visualization of your body possible. Your 3D model combined with other measurements takes all the guesswork out by showing you exactly where you’re gaining or losing fat or muscle mass.
Nothing’s more motivating than results!
By rescanning periodically, you’re able to see your progress with the side-by-side comparison tool.
What to expect
- Scan yourself (scans are done in a completely private room).
- Receive email with a password protected link to your results.
- Login and review your results and see a side-by-side comparison to previous scans.
What’s in the report summary?
- A 3D avatar of your body in a 360-degree view.
- Accurate calculations of body fat percentage, lean mass, balance & posture.
- Circumference measurements specific to each body part, so you can see exactly where you’re losing body fat. (Hips, thighs, stomach, etc.)
- Simple reports accessible on your phone or desktop.
What to wear
- For accurate 3D Body Scanning measurements, you must wear form-fitting clothes such as a sports bra and spandex style workout shorts, boxer briefs, or other forms of clothing like this. You should also try to wear the same clothing each time you scan.
- For scanners with long hair, make sure it is tied up away from your face and neck.
- Remove all accessories, jewelry, and watches.
- When it’s time to scan, remove shoes, socks can still be worn.
Making Sense Of Your Report
Body Composition
This report will identify how much of your total body mass is lean (muscle, bone, etc.) vs fat. As well as providing exact circumference measurements of different parts of your body, so you can see your results.
Posture & Balance
Information pertaining to body alignment and posture shows you where you may need improvement and is helpful for anyone working with a chiropractor, personal trainer, or physical therapist.
Body Shape Rating (BSR)
Fit3D created a formula that tells you information about your results to create a score called Body Shape Rating (BSR). Your BSR is compared to other people with similar height, weight, age, and sex. Adding muscle and reducing body fat will improve your BSR over time.
Fitness Score
Your Fitness Score is a (poorly named) indicator of how your basal metabolic rate (BMR) compares to other Fit3D users with similar age and gender. Your BMR is simply the amount of energy your body is burning while at rest.
A lower fitness score suggests that it may be beneficial to add some lean muscle to increase your BMR.
