Member of the Month for June is Christine Harvey!

Member of the Month goes out to Christine Harvey!!  Christine is a very active member at SIN. Not only is her attendance in classes  consistent as her name appears each month on the ‘Workout Warrior’ list, but Christine  participates in all challenges, competitions and events offered at SIN!  whether heart rate or fitness and she rarely misses a SIN event!  She comes to class ready to work and accepts all challenges without complaint.  She is speedy and is often ‘chased’ by other members as she provides a pace for the workout.  We love having Christine at SIN; her dedication to herself and those who work beside her is commendable. ❤️💪🏋🏻‍♀️🥊🔥🔥🥊🏋🏻‍♀️💪❤️#memberofthemonth #sinnerforlife #sinstrong #consistencymatters #teamsin #groupfitness #groupfit #teamtraining #dedication #setthepace #berlinct #itsallinberlin  

How long have you been coming to SIN Fitness? I started coming to SIN in October 2019. 


Do you remember your first workout? Yes, it was Alisha’s Wednesday night HIIT class.  I was hooked right away and signed up after my first class.  I continued to go to HIIT every Wednesday night for a while until I switched to almost all morning classes.   


How would you describe you lifestyle before SIN Fitness? How would you describe it now? I was pretty active prior to joining SIN.  I had been doing CrossFit 2-3 nights a week for about 6 years.  I was also running a lot.  I had just finished my 5th half marathon a few weeks prior to joining. I was coming off a lot of running injuries when I joined SIN and I thought I would continue to have limitations.  I definitely feel that SIN has helped me overcome those limitations.  I quickly became hooked on all the classes that SIN has to offer especially Bootcamp, Punch and Crunch, Rock and Row and HIIT.   The early morning classes and amazing 5:30 am crew at SIN turned me into a morning person and I rarely miss an early morning class. 


If you could design your perfect workout what would it be? For anyone who has worked out with me would know that my perfect workout includes cardio.  I do love chippers, either team or individual, with a good mix of cardio and strength.  My perfect workout would have to end with the “run to the light” like at the old gym.  One of favorite workouts is the Saturday chaos chipper.   


What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness? You should definitely give it a chance.  The coaches and members are amazing and motivating.  Also, with the variety of classes and number of classes offered, there is just about something for everyone.
