Claws N Paws is a 501c non-profit for the animals with a focus on wildlife. The Center became a registered non-profit in 2020 with the State of CT and Guide Star. Claws N Paws is a rescue and/or rehome for animals from abuse, neglect or illegal possession. They also, raise abandoned or orphaned wildlife, and rehabilitate the injured or sick wildlife. After the rehabilitation process they can release the raised and/or rehabbed wildlife back into the wild.
Through their effort they are able to recruit new wildlife rehabbers and provide assistance through the process of getting their license and resources for rehabbing. By providing education on wildlife they are able to assist the community and surrounding areas.
They need your support to be able to help wildlife. As CT Licensed Wildlife Rehabbers, they are volunteers; no paychecks, stipends or discounts. They are responsible for taking care of wildlife in their possession and all the expenses incurred. From food, formula, supplies, medications, vet bills, cages, outdoor enclosures and anything else needed comes out of each rehabber's pocket. The Center will like to help the future rehabbers and new rehabbers start with the centers support; and their support comes through your donations! So be sure to Check In, every Check In counts!
