Member of the Month for April is Amanda Liberda!  Amanda has been a loyal SIN member for almost 5 years!! She worked out with us at home through the Covid virtual workouts often making it a family affair to include her mom, sister and daughter.  She continued to make fitness a priority during her second pregnancy.  Her dedication to her goals shows as she continues to lift heavy, push herself through workouts and those around her.  Her arms look amazing!! How long have you been coming to SIN Fitness?
I’ve been coming to SIN since the summer of 2019. I signed up with my mom after my sister recommended it. I loved that it gave us a chance to spend time together during our busy schedules while we worked to stay healthy.

Do you remember your first workout?
I don’t remember much about the actual workout but I do remember walking into the early morning class and being greeted by Coach Eric who was a familiar face from growing up in town. He introduced me to Coach Kaylee who was by my side to give me extra instruction and helped me modify the exercises based on my abilities at the time. The members were so friendly and quickly welcomed me into the group. That’s when I knew I had found my gym!

How would you describe you lifestyle before SIN Fitness? How would you describe it now?
Before SIN I didn’t have a consistent workout routine. I would go to a spin class occasionally or head outside for a run. I had a hard time staying motivated. Now, I look forward to going to SIN about 4 times a week. There’s always a class time that works for my schedule.  I love that all I need to do is show up…There’s no thinking involved! The coaches always have a fun and challenging workout planned for each class.

If you could design your perfect workout what would it be?
It would start by being surrounded by the strong 5:30am crew (and my mom & sister, of course)! The class would include a strength portion with bench press or heavy power cleans. It would then go into a partner workout with rowing sprints and strength moves. The bike would be nowhere in sight!

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness?
Give it a try. You won’t regret it! I am so thankful I found this gym. It’s not only helped me build my strength, endurance and confidence but it’s introduced me to a group of people that have become family!
