How long have you been coming to SIN Fitness?
I started coming to SIN in June of 2021. I was working out at another gym, but Covid changed the way the gym operated, and it no longer suited my needs. I know other members that left and went to SIN, I would see there #checkinforcharity posts on Facebook. So, I decided to do a trial, which turned into a small package which turned into an unlimited…
Do you remember your first workout?
If I remember correctly, my first workout was a Bootcamp with Nicole and Heather or Janina was doing her student coaching. I was used to doing bootcamp workouts, so it was too overwhelming but when I found out SIN did an actual “cycle” for Bootcamp classes I was excited about that. It’s amazing the progress you can make in 4 weeks
How would you describe your lifestyle before SIN Fitness? How would you describe it now?
Due to my Military career, I worked out pretty consistently before SIN, but I‘ve never been as strong as I am now. The way that SIN sets up their classes allows you to really push yourself and see progress. I may have worked out regularly, but I have never enjoyed it like I do now! I get total FOMO when I have to miss a class, I’m so addicted.
If you could design your perfect workout what would it be?
I loved a recent bootcamp we did! It was a partner workout with the bear complex, cleans, plank and a few other moves. I love bar work and especially love doing it with a partner. Partner workouts tend to motivate me more and I just love finishing strong with another person, regardless of our fitness levels.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness?
I am an avid cheerleader for SIN! I flood my Facebook with #checkinforcharity’s and am always telling those that will listen how much I love my gym. The best thing you can do for yourself is invest in yourself and there’s no place better for mental and physical health than SIN. If you have ever been on the fence about joining a gym, SIN is an absolute must try. The Coaches and facility are top notch and I just can’t think of another gym family that I would want to be a part of!
