Member of the Month for November is Emily Nuzenski!! Emily’s journey is one of resilience, grit, and strength—she’s lost an incredible 180 pounds since beginning her fitness journey, with over 100 pounds shed right here at SIN Fitness!
Emily can be described in so many ways, but a few words that stand out to our coaches are kind, hardworking, resilient, and funny! Whether she’s in Kick-Fit, Bootcamp, or Combat-Fit, Emily consistently brings her best, pushing herself and inspiring everyone around her to do the same. Just last month, she took on her first team competition and crushed it, showing her determination and strength on a whole new level. Her humor and welcoming energy make every class she’s in a joy for coaches and members alike.
Seeing her determination, positivity, and the growth she’s made has been truly inspiring. Emily credits her success to the support of her coaches, but we know it’s her incredible effort and commitment that have led her here. We’re just so grateful to be part of her journey.

Do you remember your first workout?
Kick fit! I was sore for days and had to wait a week before trying again, I loved it.
How would you describe your lifestyle before SIN Fitness? How would you describe it now?
For the past year and a half in my journey, SIN has been an absolute beacon of change in my life. The accountability, encouragement and support of the coaches is just unmatched in anything I have experienced. More than just weight loss and loose clothes, I've gained mobility, edurance and confidence. I have achieved the level of physical activity and stamina I had always dreamed of, biking the rail trails, riding roller coasters, hiking mountains and lifting heavy! I can't thank this group enough for showing me friendship, healthy competition, true sportsmanship and community all in one.
If you could design your perfect workout, what would it be?
You guys already did it with Combat Fit....kickboxing with some weights sprinkled in, a perfect union...I really like the quick pace, and variety in the circuits.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness?
Do it, growth happens but not without discomfort. What you give here, will come back to you 10-fold. The encouragement of the coaches and your peers will show you how you can do hard things you didn't think were possible and enjoy it too! Join a gym, but also a community of committed and genuine individuals who will lift you up without fail.
