The Alzheimer’s Association (Connecticut Chapter) supports individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia, diseases that impact over 76,000 people in Connecticut and more than 55 million worldwide. Kristen Bell’s family was personally affected by Alzheimer’s, losing her grandmother in 2010 after a courageous battle. In her honor, Kristen is hosting a recycled sneaker fundraiser, with all proceeds donated to the Association. Alzheimer’s has also impacted other SIN families, including Coach Gabby, who recently lost her dad due to complications from the disease. The Connecticut Chapter provides support, advocacy, and advances research toward treatment, prevention, and a cure. For every Facebook check-in, SIN Fitness will donate 50¢ to the Alzheimer’s Association. Your check-ins help the Connecticut Chapter continue providing support, resources, and hope to those affected. Be sure to check in and support this cause! Learn more: https://www.alz.org/ct
