ober Member of the Month goes to Dennis Baker! Dennis has been part of SIN for about a year and a half through our Forever Fit program, and we’re so happy he’s part of our community .He shows up every week, works hard, and it shows. Dennis has gotten noticeably stronger, and it’s been awesome to watch his progress. But what really stands out about Dennis is the way he supports the people around him. He’s always encouraging others, cheering them on, and genuinely cares about everyone in class. He’s also just a great person to have in class and a lot of fun to coach! We’re so glad you’re part of the SIN Family, Dennis! Congratulations! 👏💪🏋️♂️❤️ How long have you been coming to SIN Fitness? I started May 2025 How would you describe your lifestyle before SIN Fitness? BEFORE SIN Fitness .... I had a complete hip replacement and a few years earlier I had abdominal surgery and did nothing to regain my strength. I had no stamina and would tire very easily just walking upstairs. How would you describe it now? ..... AFTER SIN Fitness I have regained my strength, and I do not tire-out playing with the grandkids so easily. I actually want to do things I haven't done in years. If you could design your perfect workout what would it be? I actually love the workout programs that the SIN Fitness team put together for me. I look forward to going 3 times a week but would love to go 5 times a week. What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness? DO IT !!! The Coaches are extremely nice and will work with any limitation you might have and assign a modified exercise to fit your exact need. What’s a win you’re most proud of since starting at SIN? I remember my first session. The coach wanted us to do a "plank". I never did a plank before and after my abdominal surgery my core was weak. Well, I tried and lasted only 10 seconds before collapsing to the floor. I am proud to say I can now do three ( 3 ) sixty second planks during my one hour workout session. What keeps you coming back on the days you don’t feel like it? Knowing where I was and where I am now, I would never want to be that person again.
