Jason Sorensen is a dedicated, 44-year-old high school English teacher, husband, brother and son. Many are those fortunate to have experienced Jay’s kindness, generosity and graciousness. Now it’s our turn to support Jay through his own biggest challenge: Beating the nonsense out of AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) blood and bone marrow cancer. Your check-ins will help with mounting medical expenses and assist with on-going support as Jason and Mandy navigate this long and demanding road, which will include several rounds of inpatient chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and ongoing outpatient therapy.
“He has always been our protector and teacher. It was only fitting that he eventually became a teacher and could have an impact on a number of young lives. He has also been a backbone and strength in our family. It is now our turn to lift him up in his time of need, provide additional strength and be his protector as he beats cancer and comes out stronger and wiser than before!” Let’s beat this thing!
