December 2020 Member of the Month Kelly Flanigan

SIN Fitness November 2020 Member of the Month Kelly FlaniganCongratulations to our December Member of the Month, Kelly Flanigan!💪🏻❤️🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♂️ 🧘🏻‍♀️🔥❤️💪🏻🏃🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️

We love the enthusiasm and energy Kelly brings to SIN. She gives 110% effort and makes teamwork a priority. Kelly crushes her Bootcamp workouts, always reaching for heavier weights and encouraging her partner to do the same. She’s now attending Yoga regularly and is embracing the poses and sequences like a champ! Kelly’s ability to create a teamwork atmosphere is incredible. She cheers people on and always pushes them to do better. She’ll never let anyone finish a workout alone. We’re so proud of you Kelly, and love having you as a member of our SIN family!

How long have you been coming to SIN Fitness?
I started back in February 2019.

Do you remember your first workout?
Yes, my first class was Kick Fit with Kaylee when I started at SIN with the Groupon and I loved it so much I signed up that night as a member and never looked back!

How would you describe your lifestyle before SIN Fitness? How would you describe it now?
I was going to a regular chain gym about 6-7 days a week and was very active with strength training and cardio. But now, I am much more structured with my workouts and my form has gotten so much better. I also have experienced so many different types of exercises (i.e. burpees & rowing) that I would have never done on my own at my old gym!

If you could design your perfect workout what would it be?
My perfect workout (which I’m sure won’t shock anyone) would be supersets of isolating specific body parts (i.e. legs, biceps, triceps, back, etc.) and to have rowing and short distance running incorporated into it. I feel the strongest when my workouts are not timed and can really focus on one movement at a time without counting!! And for me personally, rowing, and short distance running has helped my endurance the most for cardio!

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness?
SIN is a great place for anyone to go to at any level. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never worked out before or if you’ve been working out for 20+ years. Everyone is there to make themselves better and are also the most supportive people and want you to do better as well. I never thought I’d be going to a class based gym and now I can’t picture myself going to any other gym! It’s amazing how much harder you can work when you have friendly competition but also teammates and coaches there with you every step of the way. You’ll never finish a workout by yourself you always have someone there cheering you on until you’re done. It’s the best hour of the day for me (stress free) knowing that I can workout with a great group of people and know that I’m going to get an awesome workout in!
