Kerry has come so far with her skills and abilities by applying all the cues and suggestions given to her by coaches. She is constantly looking to improve herself, whether it’s on form, weight, or time. She doesn’t compete against anyone else in the room, it’s truly her pushing herself to be better.
She is kind, friendly, and works well with everyone. She welcomes new members, encourages ALL members, and pushes herself to do her best!!

How long have you been coming to SIN Fitness?
I signed up for SIN in the fall of 2019 with a groupon. I came with a close friend, because I was too nervous to try it on my own. Needless to say I’m very happy I did!
Do you remember your first workout?
The first class felt like a blur! It was bootcamp class with Eric. I remember everyone in the class introduced themselves which made me feel welcome. I remember feeling silly because I didn’t know how to do many of the moves, like headcutter or deadlift, but Kaylee and Eric were both so helpful. They really took the time to make sure my form was correct and encouraged me to keep going. I don’t remember much else about the workout but I’ll never forget how sore I was the next day. 🙂
How would you describe you lifestyle before SIN Fitness? How would you describe it now?
Before SIN I didn’t have a good grasp on fitness. I did a lot of cardio on a treadmill and elliptical for long periods of time. Along with using random machines at the gym, I never lifted weights. I took some group classes but a lot of the gyms I just didn’t have a positive experience with. Often I felt like I “had to” go to the gym and it wasn’t something I enjoyed. Through working out at SIN I now have a much better view on fitness. I look forward to my daily workouts and get excited to spend time working on myself! I feel more confident lifting heavy weights and trying different types of workouts.
If you could design your perfect workout what would it be?
One of the main reasons I love SIN is because of the variety of workouts, I get bored doing the same thing! My favorite workout is one with a good balance of cardio and strength. I enjoy TABATA or timed workouts the most. For some reason counting reps can be discouraging to me, where putting in my full effort for a certain amount of time helps me to push myself.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at SIN Fitness?
Do it for yourself! This gym is all about improving and becoming the strongest version of you. All the SIN coaches and members are supportive and positive. Here at SIN fitness they will push you to do YOUR best today, whether that’s doing 1 burpee or 50 burpees. Every member is important here no matter where you are on your fitness journey!
