SIN Fitness November Member of the Month is Cindy Saraceno.
Cindy has been a member of SIN Fitness since the end of 2019. She brings a positive energy, and an infectious laugh, to any of the variety of classes she’s takes — KickFit, BootCamp, Punch n’ Crunch, Yoga, Barre, AAA, or DanceFit!
She is not afraid of a challenge, especially in team settings and brings an electric energy when she’s in the room! This past month she competed in our Team Fitness Comp and Cindy absolutely crushed it!
She never takes herself too seriously, but she is serious about staying fit and healthy so she can keep up with her 3 active kids and fitness enthusiast husband. We love having Cindy as part of our SIN Fitness Family!! Keep crushing your workouts with a smile on your face! 💪🏼❤️🔥🥊🏋🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️💃🏻💪🏼🔥❤️
How long have you been coming to Strength in Numbers?
I joined in December 2019 after my friend Christine Harvey told me how awesome it was. I bought a Groupon & signed up for a membership after my first class.
Do you remember your first workout?
My first workout was a hell week class right before the 12 days of Christmas with Coach Nicole. It was a YGIG and I partnered up with Coach Kaylee who was showing me around for my first class. I just remember thinking there are a TON of burpees in this workout!
How would you describe you lifestyle before Strength in Numbers? How would you describe it now?
Life Before SIN Fitness?
I have tried to lead an active lifestyle. I was a swimmer & softball player in high school, and I played intramural rugby in college. I was a Zumba instructor and have done many sprint triathlons, half marathons and a 1/2 ironman. Just before coming to SIN, I worked out at a CrossFit gym.
My life since joining SIN Fitness?
Now that I’ve been a member of SIN for almost 2 years, I can say I’m the happiest I have ever been at a gym. The coaches, members and workouts are amazing. I initially had a membership of 13 classes a month, but realized I needed to switch to unlimited because I loved it so much! The variety of classes allows me to work out 4-5 times a week without getting too sore. My mornings with the kids are much easier after I have a SIN workout in the AM!
If you could design your perfect workout what would it be?
Either a YGIG or EMOM with hang power cleans, push press and jump rope - maybe some double unders. I used to hate burpees, but now I don’t mind them!.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at Strength in Numbers?
Stepping into a new gym can be extremely intimidating, but that’s not the case at SIN. Give SIN a chance. Everyone is very welcoming! No one is there to judge you. We are all there to work on our own level of fitness. You will make amazing friends, be supervised by outstanding coaches, and become part of a unbelievably wonderful gym community who supports each other.
