Tammy started off slow at SIN, just coming to Sunday Kick-fit for a while; once Tammy started to come more and try new classes she became a shining star here! She stepped her game up and is now coming 4-5x a week, switching up between HIIT, Boot Camp, Triple A, and Kick-fit! She is an unstoppable force in every class she attends- always pushing herself and always supporting those around her. Tammy is coach-able and always improving. We love having you in class, and continue to be an awe of how much you continue to grow! Thanks for all your hard work, it doesn’t go unnoticed 💪🏻🔥🏋🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️!!
How long have you been coming to Strength in Numbers?
I’ve been going to Strength in Numbers for about a year and a half. I started off slowly with a few classes a week, took a brief break and have been back steadily since April.
Do you remember your first workout?
My first workout was a Kick-fit class. I was "hooked" immediately. I’d like to give a shout out to Jill Rodriguez for telling me about S.I.N. She brought me to my first class and I’ve been a fan and a member ever since. Thanks, Jill!
How would you describe you lifestyle before Strength in Numbers? How would you describe it now?
For the last 10 years or so, I’ve been in and out of the gym, with minimal enthusiasm and minimal results, mostly just trying to lose weight or get in shape. My lifestyle now is a bit different. I’m definitely more consistent with my workouts at S.I.N. I look forward to going to the gym. The group classes takes out the guess work and stress out of planning the workout and it makes it easy to go. I just show up and the trainers do the rest! Plus, I look forward to the friendly community and I always benefit from the positive energy of the group. I love the comradery. Everyone is so encouraging and supportive and it keeps me going. I feel stronger than ever and my workouts are now part of a lifestyle change and I love it!
If you could design your perfect workout what would it be?
I really enjoy a variety. I especially like the workouts with different stations. But honestly, I like them all. I’ve done kickboxing, HIIT and Triple A but my favorite is probably Bootcamp. I like the combination of cardio and strength training and I don’t get bored because I’m not just doing one thing.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting at Strength in Numbers?
I tell everyone I know to come and try! You can workout at your own ability and comfort level. The classes are fun, the trainers are supportive and I’ve met so many nice members since I’ve started. Look for the Groupon! 📷
